PHILOSOPHY
The theory is important but it is time in the water that makes the diver.
It's our mission to give our divers and students as much time in the water as possible. We focus on small group sizes tailored to individual divers' experiences and needs. We limit fun diver groups to 4 certified divers. On PADI courses our standard is 2 students per instructor. And we offer at least one additional dive with every course you take. is only part of how we meet that commitment.

Director
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
David founded Koh Chang Divers in 2017 and is a long-time Koh Chang resident and dive industry builder. He believes passionately that the key to keep divers diving is to give them as much time in the water as possible to assist them develop and perfect their skills. David regards himself as a diver, instructor and small businessman in that order of priority and is probably the person you are most likely to meet on the boat.

Naam is a Koh Chang resident from Buriram. Although not actively sailing with the crew, she plays a crucial role in liaising with the local community. Her connections ensure that everything we need for the boat is promptly ordered and delivered. Plus, her ties to Adun as his sister add a touch of family warmth to our team.

Bo is a true local, hailing from Bang Bao village, also our home. Capt. Bo knows these waters like the back of his hand. His boat-handling skills have earned him rave reviews from satisfied dive customers.

Adun manages key daily logistics onshore and on the water to ensure a seamless diving operation and experience. His engineering prowess is integral to the general maintenance of the boat, working closelyt with Captain Bo. Adun is from Buriram.

We have chosen the Whaleshark as our emblem because the world’s largest fish is now being seen in waters around Koh Chang more often than ever before. 2023 marks the time we started seeing as many as five different individuals including juveniles in both the National Marine Park and the HTMS Chang shipwreck.
There are no guarantees of seeing them each time we go out because, of course, we are always in their hands, sorry, fins.
The Whaleshark
A traditional Thai fishing boat converted to our requirements, our dive boat is expertly crewed by locals with extensive knowledge of local water and conditions. There's plenty of space for equipment and tanks on the main deck, along with emergency equipment, drinks, food and a toilet. The upper deck offers additional space. Though the boat is licensed and authorized to carry 24 people, we limit the number of guest divers to 12 in order to have sufficient space available for everyone.
